Our last trip in December 2006 lead again to Egypt for diving. But this time we traveled to Hurghada, a bit further south, where we boarded the Hurricane boat. That boat has been awarded by the Diver magazine in two consecutive years as the best liveaboard cruiser of the read red sea. Was it really that good? See the pictures!

A week vacation on Bornholm with the family, and a short visit on Christiansø. Two really beatiful Danish islands with a relaxing atmosphere. Bornholm is a quite large island, which is also a holiday destination for many Danish, Swedish and German people. Christiansø is not too far away from Bornholm, inhabited by a small, self-supplying community (ca. 100 people). For the Danish part of my family it has been a tradition for many years to have a common holiday in a summerhouse in Dueodde.

Finally the study semester ended, and we had time to travel to California, USA. Almost tree weeks around in San Francisco, Yosemite and Monterey. A great trip! We left Denmark all together, Anne, Luca and me. And on the way we visited our friends Sven and Katharina in Berkely, just before they returned to Switzerland.
