Andreas and Maria's Wedding in Sweden

Our friend Adreas Bergh just got married. The wedding was held on an island called Ljusterö 50km north of Stockholm, Sweden. The wedding was very beautiful. Thanks Andreas and Maria, that we could be there!

Andreas has been living at our place for a bit more than a year. He moved to Denmark right about the same time as I did too. We are working in the same company. That's where we got to know each other.

ImageBut now he moved back to Stockholm, where his family and his lovely girlfriend Maria live. Last weekend Anne, Luca and me were invited to join their long awaited wedding on the leisure island Ljusterö, outside Stockholm.

This Swedish wedding was very beautiful! Starting with a touching ceremony in the Ljusterö Kyrka. Then continuing with a apéro down at the water, where I could mingle with the other guests. Then the arrangements and speeches of family and friends during the dinner in a locale at the northern end of Ljusterö.

It was great to get to know Maria a bit better, and to meet the people that are most important for them. This was all worth it taking the 1500km journey for the weekend with our little baby Luca. Anne and me enjoyed it a lot.

ImageAlso Luca seemed to do fine during the entire trip on the backseat of the car. Of course we had to take some breaks every now and then to give him something to eat, but that also suited us very well.

Andreas arranged a room for us to stay at Vasby Gård to spend the night. This is a cozy countryside residence with attached golf course. Can be recommended for an extended weekend stay (also if you like us do not play golf :-) ).

Andreas and Maria, we wish you all the best for now and for your common future! We hope to see you guys somewhen back in Denmark again!
