Late Summer on Bornholm

Bornholm is a little Danish island at the very east of Denmark. It's known for its white beaches and different kinds of traditional handicrafts. Unilke the rest of Denmark, Bornholm is rather rocky, and in some places there are beatiful steep cliffs down to the water.

On the island there are a couple of colorful ancient fishing villages, some big farms and many, many holiday residences. In summer time there are many tourists from Scandinavia and Germany on the island to enjoy the nature and rexed atmosphere.

Also Anne's family used to go there once a year for a week to a rental summer house. It is located in Dueodde, at the south of the island. Dueodde is connected to a very wide beach, protected behind sandy cliffs and a light forest.

Anne and me just went there to enjoy the late summer days together. Exploring the island with bicycles, playing in the sandy cliffs, visiting historical scenenery, enjoying good food. That was in deed a beatiful holiday.
