In April 2002 I moved to Denmark. Read here about my first impressions of my new home.
In April 2002 I moved to Demark. I was invited by the IT company SimCorp A/S to participate developing software. I took it as a great opportunity to collect a lot of new experiences in a foreign country.

Copenhagen is Denmarks biggest city and supposed to be the liveliest one in all Scandinavia. It has a wide spectrum of cultural attractions, suitable for every kind of taste. The Tivoli, the different concert halls and the numberless bars and pubs in the city center are a good point to start. For more dedicated visitors there are some worldclass museums to be visited - e.g. Nationalmuseet and Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek. There are also many peaceful parks and promenades for the ones seeking for relaxation. And if you find the right people here, it will certainly never get boring. That's a promise.

The city itself is located on an island called Zealand (Sjælland). Outside in the countryside - embedded into a picturesque landscape - are a number of beautiful castles with large gardens and a lot of lovely villages which I am very much looking forward to visit as soon I have the motorbike here.

Up to now I really enjoy beeing here. In private as well as in my job am I moving on yet unknown but very exciting terrain. Having nice friends here, an appartment where I can live and a challenging job make me want to stay here for some more time - until early summer 2003? After that I will decide again...
