Travelling

Travelling is setting out for some time with little money and an open mind, use local transportation, eat mostly local food, meeting the locals – and fellow travellers. Traveling is meeting people.
Visiting other countries and learning their cultures teaches understanding, respect and tolreance. I have always been curious about how other people see the world. I always wanted to learn from them. It is this what keeps me motivated to visit different parts of the world. Travelling and absorbing all impressions ever possible.

There are different places I have been to in the past - either for vacation, for business or for living - and maybe I go there again. I would have many things to tell about:

  • Argentina (Buenos Aires)
  • Austria (Vienna)
  • Denmark (Copenhagen, Skive, Århus, Svendborg, Middelfart, Hundested, many more...)
  • Egypt (Sharm el Sheikh, mainly in the water...)
  • England (London)
  • France (Paris, Nice, Bordeaux)
  • Germany (Frankfurt, München, Düsseldorf, Stuttgard, Berlin)
  • Indonesia (Bali, Java, Sulawesi)
  • Italy (Borgo di Val Taro, Volterra, Roccodedrighi, Siena, San Gimignano, Lucca, Pisa, more...)
  • Lichtenstein (Vaduz)
  • Malaysia (Kuala Lumpur)
  • Maledives (Reethi Rah)
  • Norway (Oslo)
  • Scotland (Glasgow, Oban, Fort William, Stirling, and more...)
  • Singapore
  • Spain (Madrid, Rodalquillar)
  • Sweden (Stockholm, Malmö)
  • Switzerland (Aarau, Zürich, Basel, Bern, Geneva, Locarno, and many more...)
  • Thailand (Chiang Mai, Nongkai, Bankok, Phuket, Ayuttaya, Pitsanulok, Sukothai, Rayong, and more...)
  • USA (New York, San Francisco, Yosemite, Monterey)

And there are plenty of places I would like to append to the list - if my job allows:

  • Australia
  • Brasil
  • Burma
  • Ecuador
  • Iceland
  • Canada
  • Madagascar
  • Marocco
  • Micronesia
  • New Zealand
  • ...
